Alright, movie lovers, spooky season may be coming to a close, but we've had plenty of chills! We review Smile 2 and the many scary offerings we consumed from Shudder and Max. Plus, we'll have reviews of other non-horror films Piece by Piece and Saturday Night and we'll discuss a couple of true crime streaming docuseries. All this and the latest movie news. Tune in....IF YOU DARE!
Read 'em their rights, movie lovers! We're back with another deep dive episode, this time taking a look at one of our favorite 1980s comedies, "Dragnet." This 1987 buddy cop comedy is full of things that make us giggle, such as Dan Aykroyd's amazingly square Joe Friday characterization, Tom Hanks' effortless (and award worthy?) performance as Pep Streebeck, Christopher Plummer's delicious villanous turn, Dabney Coleman's lisp and, of course, vibrator repair. Come along as LAPD's finest battle the PAGANs in the City of Crime.
On this week's episode of FaveFilm Weekly we give you our impressions of the much anticipated "Joker: Folie à Deux," talk about Francis Ford Coppola's huge movie gamble "Megalopolis, " the week's movie headlines, and also what we have been watching.
Hey, movie lovers! It's time for another installment of "FaveFilm Weekly." Would you believe Leasha has never seen "Time Bandits"? Richard introduced her to one of his childhood favorites recently, and....she has thoughts. Join us as we discuss this Terry Gilliam classic, including the all-star cast, the overall Monty Python-ness, the funny historical figures, Vincent and Pansy, and that devisive ending. Adventure is sure to follow!

Movie lovers - it's morphin' time! In honor of the new Power Rangers movie, we take a look back at the movie that first brought our heroes to the big screen. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is ridiculous, puntastic, and makes no sense. But Leasha and her sister Tobi still have a great time picking apart this awesomely bad B-movie. We discuss Ivan Ooze's real nefarious plan, extreme sports, bad dubbing, karate action and wire work, and how Mariska Hargitay almost played a role. Join us for a deep dumpster dive into this mildly enjoyable, mostly terrible film.
NOTE: Some older clips were from videos pulled originally from VHS tapes. The quality wasn't great, but we did what we could to clean them up for you.
"I'm not even supposed to be here today!" Join us as we explore Kevin Smith's film debut - the indie classic "Clerks." With snappy dialogue and relatable characters, Clerks is easily one of the funniest movies of all time. We'll discuss Dante's misery, Randal's disregard for authority, horrible customers, Walt Flanagan, the original downer ending, and the incomparable duo that are Jay and Silent Bob. We assure you - it's awesome!

Join us and our special guest, Leasha's sister Tobi, as we talk about the movie mischief-makers and creepies who have scared us and made us think. Beware...things are going to get scary! BWA HA HA!
In this episode, we take you on the mighty wings of the 80s action classic, "Top Gun." This movie has it all: great practical effects, a heroic Tom Cruise, harrowing drama, steamy locker room scenes, dogfights, and beach volleyball. What more could you want? Be our wingman as we take a deep dive (pun intended) into this fantastic film and try to bring back that loving feeling. Oh yes, we went there.
I FEEL THE NEED...THE NEED FOR SPEED!!!
